What is A Developmental Edit?
A developmental edit will suggest ways to strengthen the story you want to tell. These edits could involve the structure of the story, the characters, and the worldbuilding. Unlike a manuscript evaluation, which only delivers an editorial letter with edit suggestions, a full developmental edit will deliver an editorial letter that compliments inline queries throughout the manuscript.
Genres I Do and Don’t Edit
My primary genres are romance, literary fiction, mystery/thrillers/suspense, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. If you don’t see your genre here but think I would be a good fit, then send me a message. I won’t edit nonfiction, memoirs, or poetry at this time. I also wouldn’t be a good fit for hard sci-fi, historical fiction, and experimental fiction.
